De Blasio Cites Progress in Push to Fix Homes Damaged by Hurricane Sandy

As of Thursday, the city had begun work on 132 homes and had issued 397 checks worth a total of more than $6.37 million through its Build It Back program, Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
